The new smartphone Micromax Canvas Magnus was recently leaked to an online retailer. Now this new smartphone has been launched in India. Now from the company's website you can buy at Rs. 14,999.

This smartphone is the first in a series of canvas that contains Micromax canvas 2, Canvas HD, Canvas 4, Canvas 3D, fablet and Doodle 2.

The Canvas Magnus is a dual SIM smartphone and you could use two GSM simultaneously. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system platform. This new handset comes equipped with powerful 1.5GHz quad core processor in the Canvas Magnus. And also powered by a 1GB of RAM, the Canvas Magnus performs as good as it looks.

This smartphone features 5-inch HD screen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. Micromax's new smartphone comes with 12 megapixel camera. The LED flash and HD video recording facility is also available in this beautiful handset. And 2 megapixel front facing camera is also available in this phone. With the help of front facing camera video chatting is easy.

It is also powered by 2000 mAz battery. The smartphone has 4GB of internal storage battery and it expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card.

In October its first full HD display smartphone Micromax Canvas Turbo was launched. Its price was Rs. 19,900.
